Try my Gear connects sport and outdoor gear owners with people that simply want to use gear but not necessarily want to buy it.Thousands of people own gear within New Zealand and most of them don’t use it all the time.Help us building this community so more and more people can share gear and have fun!

Finding the gear

The perfect gear is 5 steps away from you. Enjoy it.

Search for the gear name or location in New Zealand

STEP 3

Select the desired dates and click ‘Rent’

STEP 4

Once your request is approved by the owner, your payment is automatically processed

STEP 5

Arrange the pick up and drop off details using our messaging platform

Listing your gear

Do you have gear that could be shared with others? Listing at Try my Gear, it is free!

Create your listing, you are in control. Set your own rules on how you want the gear to be used

including description, pick up method, photos and rental price

STEP 3

Publish your gear and set your bank account details (Refer to FAQ if any trouble)

STEP 4

When a user is interested in renting your gear you will receive a notification.

You can approve or decline it according to the gear availability

STEP 5

Use our chat to communicate with renter so you can organise the pick up and drop off.

You will receive the payment through your bank or PayPal account
